  • For past Eight and half years of employment with Rama Energy Limited,have been working as Marketing Manager
  • Established myself as key personnel in charge of making sure refined products, (PETROL and DIESEL) imported are sold out on time to Oil Marketing Companies with good credit background to avoid delays in payment
  • Dealt with sales, marketing, follow ups on invoice, payments and receivables as sole Marketing Executive
  • Follow up with invoices of sales to various customers was done upon agreement with sales which includes cash sales and credit term of 7,14, 21- and 30-days period depending on customers involve but always made sure days agreed on, payments were made on due dates
  • Follow up on receivables and payments as per due dates and invoices
  • Cash sales were also made most often to acquire quick receivables to banks which helped us in being able to even use 90 days Letters of credit period twice before 90 days expiry
  • I have been performing same responsibilities past 1 year with my assistant who joined Rama Energy in 2017
  • Hard work has been key in achieving target of identifying credit worthy customers to boost personal portfolio of having best clients in terms of sales and payments
  • Some of these customers are Nasona Oil Company, Crown Petroleum, BG Petroleum, Strategic Energies Limited, Frontier Petroleum, Petroland Ghana Limited, La Clem Petroleum to mention few
  • Helped finance department during establishment of Letters of credit from banks in purchasing new products from suppliers
  • Worked hand in hand in mobilizing funds during payment of LCs to banks as per major responsibility of selling and making sure collections are made to enhance receivables to banks and during issuance of new LCs to suppliers to purchase of new products
  • From July,2021, I assumed trading of products on behalf of Rama Energy Limited from few suppliers( BDCs) locally where Rama trade on 30 days credit release of Refined Products to Rama Energy
  • This with its challenges has been very well managed to making sure all payments to each release have been paid and settled
  • The goal is making sure these Suppliers are comfortable and Rama Energy is in good standing with them to trade always.

  • Worked with Peace Petroleum Limited (a bulk distribution company in the petroleum downstream with the core activity of importing refined petroleum products been Petrol and Diesel into Ghana under the supervision of the National Petroleum Authority to meet the specification required and sell to the Oil Marketing companies.)., and worked as the sole Sales & Marketing Executive of the company
  • Key personnel in charge of making sure products imported PETROL and DIESEL) were sold out on time to Oil Marketing Companies who were credit worthy to avoid delays in payment
  • Dealt with sales, marketing, follow ups on invoice, payments and receivables
  • Introduced idea of follow ups on invoices of sales to various customers upon agreement with sales which has 30 days credit period, and established strong relationship with account departments of various OMCs so as to ensure good receivables and payments were coming in as per due dates of invoices

  • Joined Geo drill Ghana Limited as one of their officers responsible for procurement of goods and services as well as management of stores which had single department named procurement and stores department.
  • All requisitions were managed by my unit from various departments and exploration sites which were located outside main office premise of which some were even located outside Ghana.
  • Geo drill is one company which performs mining explorations on behalf of many mining companies to explore availability of gold and other mineral resources per contract awarded
  • number of contracts Geo drill had, it was important to work under pressure and performed some functions as follows;
  • Prepared requisitions on items stocked out that needed replenishment
  • My duty was also to source for potential suppliers when items were to be purchased to get right quantities and prices for company's benefit.
  • Suppliers’ names were kept and updated every month based on merit as source of achieving best from our suppliers.
  • Requisitions from various sites for items and stationery were also received by me.
  • Operations were centralized to make sure monitoring and supervision was topmost priority of Geo Drill.
  • With knowledge in stores management, I was able to introduce and designed LPO (Local Purchase Order) to be used in purchasing goods and services from suppliers on credit
  • This helped in getting supplies, being it goods or services on good terms which gave company some good breathing space on payments to suppliers.
  • I also helped in monthly stock taking to identify items which have run out and made sure requisitions were written for their acquisition
  • This helped immensely as requisitions were coming in often from various sites. At times even sites outside Ghana, so as to ensure there isn’t any shortage to cause work stoppages.
  • Monthly reports were also drafted and sent to various authorities for management especially accounts to know which items were bought more and ones which were less used. With this, we were able to forecast on future purchases and budget allocation for stores and their operations.
  • Ensured cleanliness of store room which was ultimate in making sure enough walk ways and spaces for items on shelves and on floor so stores become pleasant for working
  • I was integral in formation of new stores and job description which was designed to help every staff been assigned to jobs to ensure accountability and people been able to exhibit their talent very well base on their strength.

  • The banks fixed deposits and other investment platforms were sold to potential customers of the bank
  • Education was also given on the banks E-product services, and other platforms of opportunities for the customers
