• Organized and facilitated training on related topics for government officials, parliamentarians, media, and civil society groups
• Conducted policy analysis and provided technical assistance to government officials and parliamentarians, to inform decisions about policy and legislation related to the economic management of natural resources
• Produced research on the public financial management implications of resource backed loans from China to Africa which got cited by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank

• Worked in a team to draft various guidelines for National Departments in South Africa including the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and the Estimates of National Expenditure guidelines (2015, 2016)
• Prepared South Africa's responses for the 2015 Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI) Survey and the Open Budget Index (flagship of the International Budget Partnership) which earned South Africa third place globally in the Open Budget Index
