Project: AgloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine STSF STEP-IN ONE CONSTRUCTION

• Provided technical expertise throughout all phases of the project, ensuring accurate execution of designs and specifications.
• Ensured preparation and documentation of accurate “as-built” drawings for completed works.
• Set up and verify horizontal and vertical control points.
• Set out centerlines, embankment toes and crests, spillways, pipelines, and access ramps.
• Conduct pre-construction topographic surveys to establish baseline ground conditions.
• Compute volumes of material placed for embankment construction
• Ensure constructed embankment elevations and slopes meet design specifications.
• Provide real-time feedback to guide construction progress and ensure adherence to design.

• UsED AutoCAD Civil 3D and geovia Surpac for plotting and processing survey data
• Set out of concrete structures, including anchor bolts, to a high degree of accuracy
• Conducted topographic surveys for design and volume computations
• Conducted setting out of both horizontal and vertical alignment of sewer lines, drainage systems, and buried services

• Ensured the proper functioning of precision survey equipment by conducting regular checks, making user-permissible adjustments, and tracking equipment performance.
• Supervised earthworks in mine developments, which encompasses tasks like removing unsuitable materials from placement areas, preparing foundations for fills, and layer-by-layer backfilling. Additionally, monitoring excavation activities for drainage trenches, floors, etc.
