BUILDING AT OSU (OGBAMEY STREET),

KLOTTEY KORLEY MUNICIPAL DISTRICT

- GREATER ACCRA REGION, GHANA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site organization, supervision and coordination of Artisans and subcontractors in accordance with the working drawings and specifications for all substructure works
• Coordinated site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborated with project managers to develop detailed project timelines and resource allocation plans.
• Supervised construction teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Conducted regular inspections to monitor progress and address any issues affecting project delivery.
• Transferred the perimeter of the working drawings on to the ground and have excavation done with the use excavator and leveling instruments.
• Marking out of lift shaft and pad excavation, monitored and ensured they are excavated to the required depth.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN:

PROPOSED 6 STOREY HOSTEL FACILITY IN KOFORIDUA EASTERN REGION OF GHANA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinating, mobilization of Artisans and sub contractors to site and supervision of all finishes of a 6 storey hostel facility (15 rooms per floor)
• Supervised day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinated project timelines and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Mentored team members, enhancing their skills in site management and problem-solving.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN:

CONSTRUCTION OF GOVERNMENT PRIORITY HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS - AGENDA 111, ZONE 7 IN THE BONO EAST REGION ( Project Wealth over $ 1.2M )

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and team members, to address any challenges or changes.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate site operations to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Attend initial site visit to investigate the accessibility and plan with other relevant information of the preconstruction services such as site layout plan, availability of materials, workforce, site offices, nature of land etc. for the project.
• Assist the QS in preparing and raising claims for payment, inform the project manager concerning project budget decision relating to claim.( Agenda 111 projects)
• Construction of two-bedroom semi-detached housing (4 in number).(Agenda 111 projects)
• Construction of three-bedroom housing (4 in number).(Agenda 111 projects)
• Construction of generator yard.(Agenda 111 projects)
• Construction of housing GEN. and waste yard.(Agenda 111 projects)
• Construction of visitors parking & security guardroom.(Agenda 111 projects)
• Planning weekly activities to ensure day to day running of site works and interpretation of building documents.
• Work in conjunction with estimators, engineers, designers to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specification and schedule.
• Recruitment of workforce and issuing payment to workers weekly.
• Preparing reports and attending monthly site meetings with the consultants and different contractors.

OTHER PROJECT UNDERTAKEN AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervised finishes of a two storey construction of Kwayisibea Hotel with 32 rooms including bar, conference Hall, workers bungalows and restaurant at Akropong Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
• Supervised swimming pool construction to finished at Kwayisibea Hotel- Akropong Aakuapem, Eastern Region of Ghana
• Supervised finishes of a two storey construction in premium asset estate at Abokobi - Greater Accra Region
• Supervised a four storey five-bedroom residence with a 3 passenger lift construction from inception to first floor level at Pokuase ACP Hills - Greater Accra Region
• Oversee the workforce and subcontractors, providing direction and support to meet daily objectives.
• Generate/ provide weekly plant and labour planning in line with the project schedule and budget.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor materials and equipment usage and report any shortages or needs to the Project Manager or Storekeeping team.
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, progress reports, and safety compliance documentation.
• Construction of retaining walls
• Construction of 4 storey residence at Tse -Addo in the Greater Accra Region from inception to first floor level

GHANA ARMY HEADQUARTERS PROJECT AT BURMA CAMP, GREATER ACCRA (A THREE STOREY BUILDING WITH 32 OFFICES INCLUDING BASEMENT.

RENOVATION OF SENIOR MEMBER HOUSING PROJECT AT KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN KUMASI (4 APARTMENTS WITH 16 BEDROOMS )

TWO STOREY RENOVATION OF TEMA FUEL COMPANY ADMINISTRATION BLOCK (TFC)

GASO PETROLEUM LIMITED HEAD OFFICE SETUP PROJECT, 7TH FLOOR AT ADVANTAGE PLACE (ACCRA MAJOR ROAD).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinated and Supervised the finishes of the construction of Ghana Army Headquarters project including interior decoration and furnishings until handover
• Supervised and coordinated the finishes of renovation of senior member housing project at Kwame Nkrumah university of science and technology to completion
• Supervised and coordinated a two storey renovation to completion at Tema Fuel Company (TFC) Administration Block
• Supervised a 6-bedroom two storey.
• Monitored project according to schedule milestones by scheduling labor, ordering materials and providing coordination on site with other trades.
• Coordinated activities with subcontractor personnel and assisted in managing team resources effectively to meet all project requirements.
• Instructed workers in safety measures and kept employers in proper safety attire to prevent job site accidents.

• Supervising all the sub-contractors and artisans on the project to finished. at GASO projects
• The sub-contractors involved are; drywall contractors, (plasterboard), carpenters' electricians, data and telephone works, AC installers, plumbers, painters, acoustic ceiling fixers, interior decoration furnishing etc at GASO projects.
• Due to the nature of the project, some activities like chiseling were schedule to be done at night at GASO projects.
