Accounts Officer - Finance

LMI HOLDINGS (Atlantic Quarry & Concrete Ltd

1) Accounts Payable management thus, processing supplier documents for payment and preparing ageing report of Payables for management.

2) Capturing of Payment Vouchers and Purchase Invoices into the Sage ERP Software.

3) Thorough review of ledger accounts, Customer and Supplier accounts before proceeding to post all invoices and other transactions into the Software.

4) Preparation of Witholding Tax Schedules and filing them on the GRA Portal to proceed with payment.

5) Preparation of monthly Bank reconciliation report.

6) Preparation of VAT, NHIL/GETFUND & COVID Levies schedules and filing them on GRA Portal to initiate payment.

7) Effective management of Operations petty cash, Production petty cash and Conveyance petty cash and therefore capturing all the expenditure into the sage ERP Software and extracting the report to Internal Audit for verification and validation for a reimbursement.

8) Passing Journal entries for payroll and other statutories.

9) Undertaking effective Supplier reconciliation activities to obtain the true and fair balances of their accounts.

10) Liaising with Stores to ensure that raw materials and other goods procured and delivered are of the right specifications being quantitatively and qualitatively terms.

11) Thorough review of Raw materials and other Consumables received in the Sage X3 ERP Software by the Stores Officer.

12) Capturing of day-to-day Production into the sage ERP software.

13) Preparation of Customer ageing report for management review.

14) Indulging in effective Customer Accounts reconciliation to identify their true balances.

15) Doubled as a Sales Administrator at the Quarry division(Atlantic Quarry Ltd) for some period of time.

16) Partaking in quarterly stock count activities so as to identify any variances in stocks thereby investigating what's causing such variances.

17) Capturing of Sales transactions (Invoicing) and keeping track of customers outstanding balances by matching their payments with supply made to them.

18) Engaging in inter-company reconciliation.

19) Assisting with External Auditing activities by the provision of essential documents and other information requested by them to make their audit activities smoothly.

20) Running errands for the company by way of undertaking banking transactions on behalf of the company.
