Decommission phase.

  • Decommission of transformers, Sub-station electrical cables, electrical fittings, and panels (Reyrolle panels).

Building phase

  • Testing of distribution transformers, current and voltage transformer (Site Acceptance Test – S.A.T)
  • Retrofits on substation panels from Reyrolle switchgear to ABB switchgear
  • Installation of three new switching room panels.
  • 34 panels with busbar rating of 2000A (mine main MV distribution substation)
  • 21 panels with busbar rating of 2000A (mine main generator set MV panels)
  • 19 panels with busbar rating of 1250A (supply to part of air compressor and underground)
