I am a friendly, results-oriented professional individual with over ten (10) years’ experience as a chemist and over six (6) years as a gold mining laboratory analyst. I am a member of Royal Chemical Society of Britain and Ghana Chemical Society and a prospective processer officer under Ghana Minerals Commission. Currently, I am with Asanko Gold Mines as an Assay Lab Shift Analyst. My expertise is drawn from working in several Laboratories including the Pesticide Unit of Ghana Standard Authority, School of Graduate Studies KNUST, teaching Chemistry and five (5) years continuous working in Chemical Laboratory and Process Plant with great background in Quality Control and Assurance. Am abreast with providing Technical, Leadership and Management Services. My key distinctive competencies are the understanding of the basic and advanced knowledge of the Chemical Labs and how to monitor procedures and equipment such as Calibration Methods, External and Internal Standards, Determination of Concentration, Detection limit, Repeatability and Reproducibility, Validation of Analytical Methods, Operating Analytical Instruments such as AAS, validations, calibration of Analytical instruments, equipment calibration as per procedures, Preparation of chemicals and dispose of hazardous chemical waste as per standard procedures and the design, implementation and management of the company's laboratory strategy, setting up Metallurgical laboratory and processes. I have excellent ability to liaise with external Laboratory through validation of results and have in-depth knowledge in gold processing operations as well.
