- Facilitated and served as Technical Scribe for risk assessments and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for high-risk processes and changes resulting in a Loss Time Injury (LTI) free year. Notably led a Hazard Identification (HAZID) for High Pressure Flare Tip changeout scope resulting in an incident free scope.
- Performed a trend analysis for process safety incidents (Loss of Primary Containment) and plant trips for improvement strategies which resulted in 70% and 31% reduction in process safety incidents and equipment failings respectively.
- Report and keep track of Process Safety Performance Indicators (PSPIs leading and lagging) weekly and monthly and for continuous improvement.
- Conduct audit of the Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and develop recommendations for issues of noncompliance.
- Effectively manage and monitor the Major Accident Hazard (MAH) barrier health status and ensure risk mitigation for impaired barriers and safety-critical devices are in place.
- Conduct incident investigations and develop lessons learnt for continuous improvement of systems and procedures.
- Classify incidents in accordance with API RP 754, support Tier 1 and Tier 2 process safety investigations and ensure the implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure new changes comply with the organizations Management of Change (MOC) procedure as well as performing technical safety reviews for new changes resulting in effective risk management.
- Successfully managed the Management of Change (MOC) process, resulting in a 44% improvement in operational safety and regulatory adherence in 2024.
- Demonstrated initiative and versatility by regularly monitoring and generating a comprehensive report monthly for swivel system which was previously outsourced, resulting in significant cost savings.
