CIP/CIL Circuit Operator

Responsible for managing the leaching and adsorption stages of gold recovery to maximise gold extraction while minimising reagent consumption and carbon loss.

• Control leaching & adsorption by monitoring slurry flow rates, densities, and retention times across leach and adsorption tanks to ensure optimal contact between activated carbon and gold-bearing slurry.
• Manage cyanide & pH by measuring, recording, and adjusting free cyanide concentration and pH levels across tanks to ensure efficient gold dissolution while preventing hydrogen cyanide (HCN) gas formation.

Grinding/Milling Circuit Operator

Responsible for reducing mined ore from the crushing plant to a fine slurry, achieving the specific particle size required for optimal downstream gold leaching

• Maintain grind size by monitoring cyclone overflow density and grind size to ensure ore particle fineness meets target metallurgical specifications for maximum gold recovery.
• Adjust water addition points (mill feed, discharge sump, cyclone feed) to maintain correct slurry viscosity, density, and percent solids throughout the circuit.

Crushing Circuit Operator (Field & DCS Panel Operations)

Safely and efficiently operate and monitor the crushing plant equipment while adhering to company safety, environmental, and operational standards.

• Effectively operate and monitor jaw crusher performance, conveyor systems, vibrating grizzly screen, and control variable-speed apron feeders to ensure a steady, balanced ore flow into the crushers without causing choke conditions or starving the circuit.
• Identify, report, and assist in troubleshooting mechanical and operational faults, while keeping constant track of conveyor safety pull-switches, zero-speed switches, belt-rip detectors, and chute level sensors to prevent catastrophic equipment failure.
