- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, engines and compressors of the crushing plant and reports to the crusher superintendent and crusher supervisor on time
- Tests, troubleshoots, services and repairs mechanical equipment and report to the crusher supervisor
- Maintains records, prepares reports and other specialized maintenances records of equipment and mechanical equipment to the crusher supervisor
- Provides emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery (mechanical experience preferred)
- Monitor the plant to ensure it is running safely and production is consistent
- Dismantles and reassembles equipment using hoists, hand tools and power tools to safely carry out work
- Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment by reporting occupational hazards and practicing duty of care to prevent hazards
