  • Provided technical support to the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) for the planning and implementation of the Malaria Vaccine Implementation Programme (MVIP).
  • Served as the MVIP focal point and collaborated with the MOH/GHS, PATH, WHO (IST, AFRO and HQ) colleagues to fulfil the joint Immunization/Global Malaria Programme objectives in facilitating pilot implementation of RTS,S/AS01 malaria vaccine as described in the WHO position paper.
  • Malaria vaccine Pilot data was timely submitted to the WHO SAGE/MPAC on quarterly basis until the end of 2022 when enough data was available for decision on the RTS,S/AS 01 malaria vaccine.
