• Rotated through the Surgical unit where I improved my surgical skills by learning to perform surgical procedures such as lump excisions, incision and drainage, debridements, appendicectomies, herniorrhaphy, gastric perforation repair, fracture management as well as assisting in major surgical procedures such as thyroidectomies, bowel resection and anastomosis
• Rotated through the paediatrics and neonatal intensive care units where I diagnosed and treated various paediatric and neonatal conditons, and ensuring optimal care for the patients.
• Monitored post-operative recovery and educated patients on at-home recovery.
• Worked effectively under demanding and stressful environments.
• Identified conditions that required expert management and referred accordingly.
• Contributed to ongoing professional development by actively participating and presenting on various topics in continuing education courses, workshops, and seminars.
• Volunteered at the Child Fair 2024 organised by the Paediatric department to screen the children in the Berekum community and its environs.

• Rotated through the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Internal Medicine and Therapeutics Department at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
• Diagnosed and treated patients suffering from chronic conditions.
• Developed skills in performing various procedures from venepuncture, lumbar puncture, caesarean section, tube thoracotomy, abdominal paracentesis and assisted in other major surgical procedures such as myomectomies and hysterectomies.
• Established strong relationships with patients and their families, fostering trust and commitment to the healthcare plan.
• Teamed with other physicians, specialists, and health care providers to provide well-rounded care for patients.

• Collaborating with Transforming Teaching, Education & Learning (T-TEL), LEAD for Ghana, National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), Ministry of Education, National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) and the Ghana Education Service (GES) to develop a National Handbook on Values for second cycle institutions
• Working with colleagues to establish Honour Community Chapters in various second cycle institutions in Ghana
• Equipping these chapters with the Honour toolkit to enable them inculcate the values of honour and integrity into the regular activities

• Used the Cogstate software to collect qualitative data on the cognitive performance of Sickle Cell patients to assess the impact of Hydroxyurea on cognitive Function
• Participated actively in regular meetings with fellow researchers to discuss project updates, challenges faced, and lessons learned during ongoing activities.
• Organized research materials, maintaining a well-ordered workspace conducive to productivity.

• Extracted DNA from whole blood, digested the gene Exon 7, performed PCR on them to amplify the gene
