Construction of a Fire Station at MIP Tema

This involves the construction of the first ever ultramodern Fire Station in the Tema Freezone Enclave, the first ever in Ghana.

Role: Project Manager

Construction of Meridian City, Tema (Pre-contract Phase)

This involves the transformation of a 80-acre land into an ultramodern mixed-use development.

Role: Cost Engineer

Marine Drive Tourism Investment Project, Accra - Ghana

Scope of works

Transformation of the beachfront stretch from the Osu Castle to Arts Centre into a vibrant and commercial enclave consisting of hotels, offices, malls, parking spaces, apartments, road networks and so on.

Key responsibilities

• QS in charge of estimation of Building and Structural Works

Estimation of Waste Hotspots Along the Odaw Channel

• Calculated correct costs for the evacuation and transfer of solid waste to specific locations by gathering information from team members
• Utilized cost estimation systems to document project information, create estimates and revise project costs to reflect current data
• Prepared Tender Documents for Bidders to price
• Engineer’s Estimate - US$ 910,000.00
• This assignment was undertaken to validate Refuse Points and identified Hotspots along the Odaw River Channel and collect relevant data to support the subsequent planning and evacuation of refuse heaps at refuse points as well as the construction of fences along the channel to reduce urban litter entering the channel
