With five(5) years working in Human Resources, I have grown to have a great sense of appreciation for how the human resources of any organization is a huge determinant of the organization’s success. My experience has honed my ability to effectively manage and develop the people who drive achievement within the company.
Responsibilities:
Organizational Policy Developing and Implementation:
- Develop and conduct routine audits of policies and procedures.
- Facilitated policy training programs for department and unit heads.
- Ensuring policies complied with the Ghana Labour Act 2003 and other relevant laws
Performance Management and Human Resource Development:
- Liaising with Department Heads to develop and review performance assessment criteria ensuring that the targets and goals set across departments align with the organization’s overall objective
- Coordinate end to end learning programs for the various departments by identifying learning gaps primarily through questionnaires and interviews, preparing a learning intervention report and liaising with external facilitators
- Assist in the preparation of Career Development and Performance Improvement Programs
Employee Relations and Culture Ambassador:
- Established as the primary point of contact for all employee-related matters by embracing an open-door policy.
- Culture Ambassador : Actively promoting the organization's culture through a range of internal and external initiatives.
Strategic Recruitment:
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process from preparing compelling Job Descriptions to employee onboarding , Focusing on efficiency and timely recruitment efforts, I designed a three(3) step interview process that targets areas of technical expertise, cultural and value compatibility and as well as alignment with candidate career plans.
Payroll Management:
- Collaborate with the finance department to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding payroll taxes and reporting.
