Motivated by the aspiration to utilize extensive experience in achieving organisational goals. Motivated and enthusiastic social development officer with 12 years of experience working with diverse populations of community stakeholders, collaborating with Internationals/local NGO’s to bring different kinds of relief and interventions to vulnerable groups especially children, women and indigents. Known for excellent interpersonal skills dealing with people of different cultures. Always lead by example demonstrating a high degree of honesty, integrity and professionalism and commitment to excellent service. Now seeking to put my skills to work in a challenging public/private sector role as a senior social development officer.

-Active stakeholder in the drafting of the Ghana Child and Family Welfare Policy in 2016 to protect children against violence, abuse and exploitation as well as providing support to mitigate risks for vulnerable families.

-Collaborated with Willows International to organize sensitization activities to empower women groups & adolescent girls on their reproductive health issues within some communities in the Asokore Mampong Municipality.

-Creative problem-solver. Have the capacity to detect children in situations of abuse /need; initiate logical and effective solutions.

-Project coordinator to the roll out of the UNICEF Child Protection Programme in 2 municipalities in Ghana which is concerned with management of cases of violence against children, abuse and neglect within our communities.

-Mentored and imparted work-related skills and training to new/existing staff, interns and service personnel’s by organizing in-house workshop training on tools and materials used on the field when visiting.

-Ability to effectively use a computer and utilize software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Power Point.

-Dynamic communication/interpersonal skills. Interact positively with a wide range of people; readily convey sense of trust.
