Accomplishments

  • Selected in May 2021 as the best Midwife to represent the District (Bawku West)
  • I was posted to Boya Chps a facility in the Boya/Gbantongo sub districts in May 2020 and after some months of work, I realized that skill delivery target was low, it became a border to me and so I sat with my sub district in- charge to set an objective for myself to improve upon the skill delivery rate. We were able to increase our deliveries from 30% to above 60% in the Sub District.
  • The facility to which I was posted to (Boya CHPS) in 2020 progress from 51% Skill Delivery in 2019 to 64% Skill Delivery in 2020 and to 144% in the just end 2021.
  • Mentored an enroll Nurse on basic midwifery activities subsequently leading to her interest in furthering as a midwifery trainee at Bolgatanga Midwifery as post basic student.
  • Reactivated the adolescent Health clubs at the Boya CHPS and ensure that adolescence takes educations and apprentice as their priority.
