Accomplishments

ACHIEVEMENT AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS OFFICER

Assisted in the establishment of Migration Information Centers (MIC) in five regions in Ghana namely Takoradi, Kumasi, Tamale, Suyani, Techiman to aid in giving information to the general public on safe migration practices. These Centers have made it easier for the public to have access to information regarding to all their immigration issues. May, 2018

 Built the capacities of staff for them to develop their presentation skills. This skills enables them to offer excellent presentations in institutions and to the general public on safe migration practices. This has resulted in the prevention of the youth from using illegal means to travel outside Ghana.

 Prevented some youth from becoming prey for human traffickers. This was achieved as the results of the numerous information campaign activities our institution have been conducting in regarding to safe migratory practices.

ACHIEVEMENTS AS A DICTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES OFFICER

 Launched a three- year project to combat the incidence of human / child trafficking in Winneba district of Ghana and this resulted in the effective preventing of the prevalence of child trafficking in the district by 85%. May 2014.

 Acquired a bigger office space for the Winneba district command and in addition to that, made it to have all the modern facilities. This prevented congestion in the office and as a result of that staff became more comfortable to be in the office. June 2014.

 The first to secure an official vehicle for the Winneba Immigration Command after 20 years of the existence of the office. This vehicle aided the office to perform effective enforcement operations. These operations made foreign companies and organisations complied to the laws of Ghana and acquired the rights permits for their activities. July 2014.

 Acquired acres of land for the Winneba command of the Ghana Immigration Service for future expansion of the command and creating more residential accommodation for immigration officers. August. 2014.

 Registered 300 hundred needy and less privileged children in the Winneba district to possess the national health insurance card (NHIS) for them to be able to access free health care services. April 2015.

 Projected the image of the Ghana Immigration Service , Winneba command positively through the various community interventions the service under my leadership undertook. Some of the projects that made positive impact were community sensitisation and education on the menace of child trafficking and labour. 2014-2016

 Received a commendation letter from my superior who happens to be the Comptroller General, the highest rank in the Ghana Immigration Service, expressing the Service profound gratitude to me in regards to the good works I have performed and the positive image I have projected the Ghana Immigration Service. July, 2015

ACHIEVEMENTS AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK SUPERVISOR

 Oraganised training programs for staff on rendering excellent communication skills and delivering perfect customer service. This made staff acquire in-depth skills to perform their duties effectively. This resulted in travelers or customers satisfied with the reception they received from the immigration section at the Kotoka International Airport.

 Trained newly recruited staff on data entering of travelers in to the Personal Identification Secure Comparison and Evaluation System (PISCES) software effectively, accurately and fast. This helps to reduce the time travelers spend at the immigration section at the Kotoka International Airport thus making travelling to Ghana from overseas more enjoyable
