Carry out quarterly supportive supervision/On the job coaching for Nurses and Midwives in 30 health facilities on Newborn Care

Assisting Adolescent Health Coordinator to facilitate the formation of both in-school and out of school adolescent health clubs in the district

In-charge of the day to day management of the facility

Management of minor illness and referrals

Carrying out home visits to special clients including Postnatal women and Newborns

Conducting emergency deliveries

Coordinating activities of the Community Health Committee (CHMC)

Managing both drugs and non-drug logistics

Managing the finances of the health facility including management of National health insurance claims

Conducting a yearly appraisal of all health staff in the facility

Managing health data in the facility from primary sources to secondary sources

Writing of monthly reports to the District Health Directorate

Managing minor illness

Referrals to secondary health facilities

Carry out home visits to clients with special conditions

Assisted midwife in conducting deliveries

Managed National health Insurance claims

Writing of monthly morbidity reports and monthly statement of outpatients reports

Triaging at the OPD

Assisting Medical officer in the Consulting room

Nursing of clients with medical and surgical emergencies

Dressing of chronic wounds

Accompanying nurse for referral cases outside the region

Training/Mentoring of students nurses under clinical attachment
