• VSAT equipment, Wireless backhaul equipment, Wireless access equipment, Local and wide area network equipment, Server systems (file, print, database, remote access) Systems, software (Windows, Linux), Backup systems (Archival, Imaging, Near-line), Internet software systems (Web, Mail, File Transfer) VoIP and IP Telephony systems
• Customer support and consulting services
• Maintaining accurate and informative records of all support activities
• Remaining an important and valuable asset to the Spidersat Technical Team.

• Installation and maintenance of VSAT and network equipment including; Server systems, Wireless backhauls, Backup Systems, VoIP systems, LAN and WAN.
• Providing support via email, telephone, remote access facilities and traveling to the customer’s site when required.
• Troubleshooting and escalation of problems within acceptable timeframes.
• Emergency assistance in the event of hardware, software and communications failure.
• Maintaining accurate and informative records of all support activities in Cisco WebEx, Dropbox, Spidersat Wiki and Spidersat support platforms.
• Prioritizing workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime
• Building and maintaining excellent customer relations.

# Leads in iSpeed installations and support.

# Regular visits to Base stations and provide reports.

# Monitor Base stations both onsite and offsite.

# Plans and support network and computing infrastructure.

# Manage and respond to emergencies at the Base station sites

# Fault handling and escalation.

# Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.

# Liaising with 3rd party suppliers, handling escalating through to resolution.

# Provides IP assignment , core network configurations, DNS setup, monitoring and graphing for co-location, leased lines, customer backup and other customer network services.

# Server builds and installs, application upgrades, network equipment build

and installation.

# Coordinates with the network Manager on any other technical issues to optimize the iBurst network.

• Ensuring that the network devices are up and running.
• Performing routine audits of systems and software.
• Monitoring network performance (Whats-Up Gold) and generating daily device reports # Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
