Executive Personal Statement

My professional journey is defined by a deep commitment to safeguarding the most vulnerable through identifying gaps in health systems resilience. Throughout my tenure within the UK National Health Service and my work as the Director of Avery Grace River, I have developed an acute ability to identify systemic lapses before they escalate into crises. My unique edge lies in the vast exposure gained as a Midwife and Nurse; I have provided advocate led care to populations ranging from the wealthiest residents of North London to the most marginalised communities in Northern Ghana., What sets my profile apart is the seamless transition from clinical practice into a broader role as an advocate and researcher focused on systemic change and economic stability. My academic foundation informs a cross sector edge that bridges the intersection of public health, research, economics and law. This is further strengthened by my strategic capacity for management, evidenced by my leadership of a Consortium that links vocational training and agricultural science to local economic development., I am personally committed to dismantling the dependency trap and breaking the cycle of gender based violence, inclusive of the lack of agency that results in no choice, no voice, no pay and no say. Through a strategic Consortium, I am dedicated to reaching rural communities to provide vocational training and professional opportunities for marginalised people of colour. My mission with Aburi Grace River is to drive climate justice and social equity through both high end sustainable developments and affordable housing alongside innovative Wellness Centres. By empowering neuro-diverse young people and marginalised groups through health and education access, I aim to reduce the burden of disease on the economy and foster a more productive, high GDP nation.
