Accomplishments

At Day Nursery (Little flower Day Nursing,Bimbilla) I participated in the marching at my country's Independence Day parade which comes off 6th of March yearly. I took part in my school's poem recitation competition of which I recited a poem titled Brighten the the corner where you are. I was awarded sweets by my class madam for being the neatest student because I appeared neat in school all the time. I was the Assistant Girls prefect at primary school and Girls prefect at Junior High school and a member of the Science and Sanitation club of my school were I took part in the organization of excursions to some of the tourist sites of my country Ghana. We went on excursion to the Elimina castle, kaakum National Park, Kintampo water falls, the mystery stone, Laribanga mosque and Mole National Park. I took part in my school's inter-house and inter-schools quiz and debate competitions. I also took part in the article writing competition of the topic: Does witchcraft exist? Where a part of my article was selected and published in the journal and I was referenced. I was selected by my District in 2011 to attend the birthday party of the then President of my country H.E President John Evans Attah Mills (late) which he organized yearly to party and interact with selected children across the country. I became the female cadet commander in Senior High School and the choir mistress of Tamasco Catholic community in my senior High School and appointed as the dormitory monitress of my house (Wemah house). I was also a member of my senior High school's choir and participated in the singing at my school's 60th Anniversary Celebration and other Inter-Regional Senior High School singing competition were we became second and awarded certificates. At college I was the Assistant course Rep of my class were I coordinated between the lecturers and the students and a member of the health club. I took part in my school's inter-house quizzes and zonal Ghana Nurses and Midwives Trainee Association (GNMTA) Debate competition where we emerged second in the Debate competition and were given certificates to that. I was a member of the Nurses Christian Fellowship (NCF) in my school and became the Assistant Health Prefect of my school. At the army recruit school I was the Senior lady of my company ( Bravo company) based on my examination score and appointed as number 5 platoon commander of my company where I commanded in section battle drills. I took part in the matching drill at our graduation ceremony.I was also the senior lady of the young soldiers posted to the second infantry battalion (Myhoung Barracks) Takoradi for regimental training after military school graduation. During my regimental training at 2BN I took part in my unit's Myhoung parade which comes off 23rd of January yearly and the remembrance day parade which comes off 11th November yearly. After my 6 months of regimental training I was assigned to the unit pharmacy due to my medical background where I worked for a year and then posted to 37 military hospital which serves as the mother unit of all medics in the Ghana armed forces and I have since served as a military Registered General nurse.
