- Walk-in samples are kept in sealed specimen bags, scanned and mailed via mox to the Pre and Post Analytical Group Mox.
- Sample Sorting: Take out specimens and request forms from each bag and check the following: the patient's name, age(date of birth), and gender on the request form and confirm that they are the same on the sample; the expiry date on the sample tube; whether the correct sample has been taken for the test ordered; sample hemolysis and sufficiency; no leakages; no clots using the clot applicator stick.
