Job Description:

• Educated patients, families and caregivers on diagnosis and prognosis, treatment options, disease process and management and lifestyle options.
• Used recommended Software to document patient plan of care by taking into account nursing interventions, diagnosis and expected patient outcomes.
• Used Software to monitor side and adverse effect of medication of patients.
• Supported nurses by performing routine tasks, such as performing tests, collecting specimens using electronic device.
• Oversaw delivery of care for patients on medical-surgical unit, providing direct care and assisting team comprised of nurses,midwives, technicians and unit clerks.

Cases Handled: Wound dressing, Suturing, Urine Retention(Catheterization), Diabetes Mellitus. etc.

Equipment Used: Suturing instruments, Dressing Instruments,Catheter, Glucometer, Sterilizer etc.

This is 350 bed tertiary facility. The facility has been open since 1990. Service offered at the facility: Medical/Surgical, Maternity Ward,Pediatric Ward, OPD, Reproductive and Child Health Clinic.
