COMPARATIVE STUDY ON POLLUTION LEVELS OF ROCKY BEACHES IN ACCRA, The comparative study was done to determine the concentrative of select pollutants in two rocky beaches in Greater Accra; Independence Square and Next Door Beach by using two species (lottia pelta and nerita atramentosa) collected to provide an understanding of the level of pollution and its impact on the beaches. At the end of the study, Next door Beach appears to be in better condition than Independence Square Beach, likely due to more effective management of visitors and individual movement. The recommendation was to understand better and predict the effects of pollution on coastal systems, such as rocky beaches, and to conduct more research and studies to facilitate comparisons over time and inform more effective preservation strategies.
