An accomplished leader in hospital management who has demonstrated repeatedly his stellar abilities in improvements in facility performances in different settings.
Currently leading the management team of the hospital to achieve the goals of the Ghana Health Service for a referral hospital. Led the hospital through the covid -19 crisis period and now doing so through the transition from a secondary level to a tertiary level facility by 2025.
Led the hospital through a period of decline restoring the confidence of the community in the hospital. This watershed period of the hospital's history saw significant improvements in the quality of care and the addition of new services such as the Dental, Eye, Neonatal, electronic records, expansion of the OPD and casualty and the general facelift of the facility.
Led the process of upgrading the Kade Health Centre into a full fledged District Hospital. To achieve this I recruited and led a management team with which I worked to establish the needed administrative and clinical units to perform the new tasks set for the new status.
Key among the units established under my watch are the administration unit, the Public Health Unit, the theatre, Laboratory expansion, Pharmacy expansion, Laundry and sterilization unit and the mortuary.
I assisted my Medical Superintendent by leading in clinical audits, organizing and facilitating clinical care events, helping in staff performance management as well as ensuring staff duty scheduling was coordinated to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
I subspecialized in Health Policy, Management and Leadership, a feat which has been of immense benefit to me as the lead manager of the various hospitals I have managed so far.
