John Kwesi Kugblenu

A Biochemist with years of experience in teaching and laboratory training as a biochemistry student and Teacher. I currently work as a chemistry teacher at Wenchi Senior High School, where I mentor, teach, and supervise students in classroom work and chemical laboratory work. I engage intensively in developing termly and weekly learner-centred learning plans that enhance student improvement in academics and social life. I know how to use Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel). I am passionate about improving the world by finding a marriage between education, healthcare and the environment. I am adaptable to a new environment, goal-oriented, vision-conscious and a committed team player.

• National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT)2016 – Present: Participated in most workshops organised by NAGRAT to promote teacher competencies in lesson delivery, classroom management, and use of ICT in21st-century teaching enabling me to acquire more skills leading to efficiency in my work as a chemistry teacher.
• Ghana Association of Chemistry Teachers (GACT)2018 – Present: Participated in conferences organised and contributed to the planning and execution of the2023 chemistry teachers conference of Wenchi Municipal assembly where there was full engagement of the municipal director of education in improving chemistry performance in the municipality.
• Ghana Association of Science Teachers (GAST)2017 – Present: Engage regularly in workshops and online conferences where we share knowledge on how to deliver some topics effectively for teacher and student improvement.
• Ghana Biochemistry Students Association (GABSA)2011 –2015: Organiser of GABSA-UCC chapter. Working together with other executives to successfully deliver of2014 GABSA conference at the University of Cape Coast where students of Biochemistry were enlightened on the research areas of the century and the prospects in various fields.
