Procurement:

Responsible for all procurement activities and administration under co-financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) & the African Development Bank (AfDB) for both phases

  • Preparation and updates of yearly Procurement Plans in reference to the Annual Work Plan & Budget
  • Facilitating and leading all centralised procurement activities (i.e. Procurement of goods, works and services); in preparation of bidding documents, conducting bid opening sessions, and preparation of evaluation reports, contract negotiations, contract administration and management among others
  • Participating in Supervision Missions and drafting of reports for the procurement section of the Aide-Memoire
  • Revised and Updated the REP Programme Implementation Manual (PIM) to include the Procurement Section
  • Oversight responsibility and monitoring of all procurement processes including Contract Preparation, Contract Administration, Management and Monitoring
  • Training in basic procurement principles and procedures for field staff (specifically BRC Officers)
  • Providing backstopping to REP implementing partners' and capacity building of the procurement units of the respective institutions i.e. Ghana Enterprise Agency (GEA), GRATIS Foundation, MMDAs
