Responsibilities

• Setting out works clearly and accurately
• Ensuring construction materials delivered to site meet the required standard specifications.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Ensuring the efficient management of machinery and personnel to achieve production targets.
• Coordinating with the project engineer to ensure all works are carried out as per specification and to satisfaction
• Liaising with field surveyors on levels and coordinates.
• Supervising the sinking of bore piles and conducting pile integrity test (Crosshole Sonic Logging)
• Ensuring field tests, i.e. FDTs, concrete sampling etc. are carried out to meet specifications.
• Gathering data, compiling reports on earthworks and subsequent concrete works.
• Monitoring and supervising the acquisition of adequate suitable borrow pits for earthworks when needed.
• Preparing and planning daily site activities.
• Preparing progress reports and reporting to the construction manager.

• Supervising the construction of the 23 Km road and subsequent structures.
• Organizing materials and ensuring the site is safe and clean.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating adjustments to crews and project engineers
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on site activities
• Gathering data and compiling reports on works done.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment

• Responsible for day-to-day airline catering and logistics service operations: quality controls and compliance with sanitation methods
• Ensuring time and cost control targets are met
• Supervising and training other operations staff (different ethnicities and nationalities) in handling duties and customer relations with clients on board.
