Responsible for restructuring the company’s purchasing and supply chain functions to make efficient as possible.

• Planning supply chain schedules in advance in preparation for busy seasonal periods.
• Keeping in touch with suppliers and developing cordial relationships with them.
• Negotiating with suppliers to minimize inventory and transportation costs.
• Make sure that all supplier information and records are up to date.
• Placing over 30 orders per month and following up with forwarders and overseas companies to arrange the goods collections.
• Shipment forecast according to sales and stock requirements to the relevant brand manager.
• The shipment follows up for customs clearance until the goods are received at the warehouse.
• Overstock and understock study.
• Warehouse physical stock audit every quarter.
• Handled various analyses such as Fast / Slow / Non-moving etc.
• Price list updation and sales margin analysis.
• Yearly forecast review with brand managers.
• Sending sales information to relevant suppliers.
• Verify and approved payment for duty, shipping line, transportation, etc.
• Follow up with the team for product registration with FDA.
• Preparing landed cost.
• Preparing forward and backward value chain.
• Generating supplier account, product Code & families by using Sage trading ERP software.
• Update the product price inside Sage trading.
• Placing orders and keeping records by using Sage trading software.

Import Functions:

• Placing orders and coordinating with suppliers for PFI & goods availability.
• To verify and submit documents to the bank for opening a letter of credit.
• Collection of original documents from the bank and forward them to the clearing agent to release the consignment.
• To prepare Landed cost.
• Accounts Functions: To prepare commercial and sales tax invoices and forward them to customers for payments.
• To keep following up with customers for timely receipts.
• Posting of receipts from customers in the company GL.
• To keep updated accounts receivable status on a daily basis.
• Ensuring the accuracy of all cheque payment vouchers.
• Coordinating external and internal auditors throughout the audit process.

Tax and Finance Functions:

• To prepare and submit monthly and annual sales tax returns (FBR, PRA, SRB) and withholding tax statements with Federal and provincial tax authorities.
• Responding to notices issued under various sections of Income Tax and Sales Tax laws and representing before Inland Revenue Officers along with consultant.
• Preparation of documents for obtaining an exemption from income tax department u/s 153 (1) (a).
• Handle withholding tax reconciliation proceedings, tax audits, and amendment of assessment cases
• Prepare draft working for timely filing of annual income tax returns of directors
• To prepare and manage fund position on a daily basis
• Responsible for issuance and cancellation of mobilization advance / performance bond guarantees from Banks/Insurance companies
• Managing marine and vehicles insurance matters of the Company.
