• As a fresh graduate from the College of Education, I was hired to teach computing and mathematics for two classes. Computing was a newly introduced subject based on the standard curriculum. Notwithstanding my efforts in the teaching profession, outcomes are below.
• With the use of interactive projects and stimulating class discussions, students' average results on computing exams increased.
• Worked with the school administration to acquire financing for new software and hardware to improve the learning environment.
• Contacted parents frequently to update them on their children's progress, and to discuss any issues via email and parent-teacher conferences.
• Curriculum and lesson plans were created for students with a range of learning requirements, including those who have learning difficulties.
• Developed and put into practice techniques to boost student participation and collaboration in the classroom.
• Worked cooperatively with other teachers, administrators, and parents to help students reach learning objectives.
• Planned and implemented integrated lessons to meet national standards.

• A passion was developed to teach students mathematics during this period when I was assigned to a school in a locality as a graduate from college to serve the country before the government provided full employment status; this service is commonly known as national service.

The outline below depicts some of the tasks that were taken.

• Different methodologies were adopted whenever a new concept was to be introduced.
• The key reason for the aforementioned point was a strategy to allow students to grasp new topics without fear, or any form of discouragement.
• Maintained student records and reviewed them twice a week to resolve any issues, and to make sure that students were making progress.
• Created and managed an afterschool tutoring program for students with learning challenges, which enhanced their test scores by 40%.
• Encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving to help students develop mathematical reasoning.

• The time interval for this teaching experience might be short, but it is the foundation period of my teaching career.
• The College of Education assigned its students through a program known as off-campus, where students' teachers are deployed to the school environment to learn all sorts of skills before they finally graduate.
• Such skills include classroom management, preparation of lesson plans, keeping track of and recording learners' attendance, participating in extracurricular activities, providing guidance and counseling to learners in need, and collaborating with other teachers to promote teaching and learning in the school.
• Implemented a peer tutoring system to enhance comprehensive understanding of math techniques and increase student test scores.
• Utilized mathematical applications and problem-solving techniques to teach advanced topics in mathematics.
• Provided meaningful math instruction to improve the math skills of children.
