Accomplishments
- Initiated a partnership with Ghana Post to deliver cards to our cardholders at their homes or offices. This solved the issue of customers complaining of not being able to pick up their cards due to busy work schedules.
- Sought approval for a number of agents at our contact center to make outbound calls and inform new customers about our card products. This led to an over 30% growth in card acquisition in 2019.
- Led my team to block a card range for a specific card type for issuance on foreign currency accounts, which led to over 500% growth in sign ons for the said card in the last quarter of 2020.
- Worked with our Point of Sale (POS) Service Unit to get discount offers from merchants for our cardholders which led to growth in domestic card transaction volumes.
- Initiated a staff incentive program for front-line staff who issue cards in branch. This grew card issuance by about 25% and created a healthy competition among staff to improve upon their performance in terms of card issuance.
