KEY DUTIES – Section Engineer

• Maintain a safe and friendly work environment and ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
• Led implementation of engineering standards to enhance project efficiency and compliance.
• Mentored junior engineers, fostering skills development and knowledge transfer within the team.

• Review and recommend improvements of all Standard Operation Procedures and ensure periodic training of subordinates on them.
• Carry out Planned Task Observations on all procedures to identify training needs of subordinates.
• Monitor and resolve all maintenance-related activities and processes and ensure that any unsafe work conditions and non-compliance with company policies and procedures are promptly remedied.
• Apply knowledge of standards, methods and procedures to maintenance processes.
• Lead in the conduction of Workplace Risk Assessment and Control (WRAC).
• Partake in departmental budget review.
• Relieving Duties
• Daily Mills inspections and continuous improvement on its systems.
• Upgrading of mill lubrication units.
• Troubleshooting and fault tracing.
• Completing daily maintenance checklist (PMs) on equipment.
• Keeping record of monitored values of equipment on the SCADA
• Inspection and Maintenance of gearboxes.
• Identifying, reporting and elimination of hazard at the work area.

KEY DUTIES - Artisan II Fitter

• Maintenance of carbon regeneration Kiln.
• Inspection and relining of Sandvik CS440, CS660 crushers and Nordberg HP 500SX crusher.
• Utilized mobile cranes to remove and replace damaged equipment and components.
• Contributed to numerous shutdowns, maintenance and commissioning activities on a processing plant.
• Performed installations and commissioning of cooling units for lubrications units.
• Adhered to all site specified Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintained a strong knowledge, awareness of, and adherence to all HSE regulations.
• Assembled and installed mechanical components in accordance with specifications and safety protocols.
• Conducted routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
• Collaborated with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
