
I am a Field Coordinator with a background in Forestry, Agriculture, and Project Management. I am a highly-skilled, self-motivated, and innovative leader with over 6 years of broad involvement in diverse facets of projects in agriculture and forestry plantation management. I have knowledge and skills in project inception, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. I am an excellent team player, passionate at work, hardworking, and have relevant engagement skills with stakeholders and all members of a team for the purpose of achieving project objectives and requisite project value.
- Managing and conducting of Field Agent (FA) training,
- Assisting in setting up a project budget, record keeping for expenses, and reconciliation.
- Assisting in the design of crop harvest protocols for rice, maize, cocoa, soya beans, and ground nuts.
- I produced the content creation document on all the cocoa projects which seeks to explain the rationale behind every question on the survey.

- Constant visitation and monitoring of field activities of all project sites where FAs are assigned, to ensure constant observations of all survey protocols
- I successfully handled and completed two major projects '- being Barry Callebaut and Ghana COCOBOD in the cocoa project.
- Currently, I am also handling two of the cocoa projects involving Barry Callebaut and Syngenta whiles combining them with two cereals projects in the northern Ghana involving Tractors for Africa and Degas Ghana Ltd.
- I was adjudged the best Field Coordinator for the 2021 – 2022 crop season.
- Propagation and cultivation of tree seedlings required
- Responsible for the nursery’s consumables and tool stock management
- Management of nursery infrastructure - irrigation system, greenhouses, consumables, demonstration trial beds, and stores.
- Carried out several fertilizer trials for optimum production
- Record keeping and reporting to the General Manager
- Worked closely with CAMCORE - a research group from North Carolina, on the improvement of the nursery deliverables.
- Carried out periodic field demonstration trials
- Periodic field monitoring and evaluation of tree species.
- In 2017, my department was audited under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) protocols and we recorded 0% corrective action response (CAR), leading to Miro Forestry attaining its long-sought FSC certification status.
- Reduced the seedling shelf life from 16 weeks to 8 weeks
- Introduced the use of trays in the propagation of Tectona grandis, which saved the company a great deal of dollars and time.
- Supervised silviculture operations such as land preparations (land clearing through stuck and burn method and Ripping), planting and plantation maintenance.
- Record keeping and reporting to the Nursery Manager on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis of the nursery productions.
- Handled about four million capacity of seedling nursery.
- Field demonstration trials of progeny of seeds and clonal materials.
- Supervised 70 workforce at the nursery and also took part in their recruitment, training and management.
- Monitored and evaluated some qualitative data and quantitative data on seedlings and saplings’ root formations and density.
