A. JOB SUMMARY

  • Strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Discovering best ways to cut procurement expenses so that the company can invest in growth and people.

B. JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • · Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
  • · Discover profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
  • · Maintain a preferred list of suppliers
  • · Maintain complaints database.
  • · Liaise with Procurement Committee Secretary for approved list of purchases for the quarter
  • · Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms (minimum of 3 quotations)
  • · Submit invoices to Procurement Sub-Committee for selection of vendor
  • · Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries (issuing of LPOs)
