• Ensuring that patients' hygiene was maintained by performing tasks like bed bath, assisted bath, oral care, hands and feet, and hair daily.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including frequent bed linen and bed making changes.
• Maintaining skin integrity through repositioning, treatment of pressure areas, and dressing of pressure sores.
• Attending to elimination and feeding needs, including nasogastric tube feeding and spoon-feeding.
• Managing medication and ensuring accurate documentation using the 5 'Rs' of medication.
• Administering medication via various routes including oral, intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections.
• Performing vital observations and monitoring vital signs for every patient on admission.
• Assisting in procedures such as lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, abdominal paracentesis, and wound debridement.
