Hello Sir / Madam .
As you already know ,my name is Michael Nyame. I was a final year medical student in V.N. Karazin National University, Ukraine .
I completed my first semester in 6th year when the unfortunate happened . In Ukraine ,it is understood that students do not pay tuition by themselves ,you have to pay to your agent and your agent then pays to the school which is what i was doing since 1st year . Here is the situation whereby my agent lost his mom and he had to return to Tanzania which i didn't know about .
Right when the first semester ended ,i received a call from the administration that i have been expelled due to delay in payment of tuition fees .I immediately reached out to my agent and there He informed me that he wasn't in the country so i had to inform my Dad about it .My Father sent the money the following day .When i went to the administration office ,i was told ,its too late i have to go back to Ghana ,get a new visa and then come back to Ukraine .
Normally it's my agent who prompts me about tuition fees all the time and the one time He didn't ,i was expelled . I understand i should have also asked him when i was supposed to pay , i was supposed to remind my Dad about it but it skipped me personally . It was left with just 4 months for me to complete medical school . Out of frustration and depression ,i quickly took my luggage and returned to Ghana . I got to Ghana on the 27th of January , 2020 . I then reached out to my agent ,he got an admission for me to be in the 6th year and then Covid Hit .
There was lockdown ,everything halted ,the visa processing ,everything , so my colleagues graduated without me . The following year ,i tried to go back to Ukraine again , prepared all my documents and my mother got sick with Stroke . I had to forget about my school and take care of my sick Mom . In 2022 , when Mom got a bit okay , i decided to reapply to my university ,i got admission through my agent and then Russia invaded Ukraine . My parents then decided that i wait till the war is over which i agreed .
Three years down the line ,the war is still ongoing so i decided to apply again and study online but the tuition fees is massive for my parents to afford . I decided to inform you about this so you understand the reason why i have no degree yet .Thank You So Much.
