As Head of Credit for the bank, I manage a credit portfolio of GHC 25 million as of the end of June 2024. Also, I am a member of the Credit Committee, which appraises all SME, Payroll, and Susu loan requests from clients. Not only that, I multitask as acting Head of Recoveries since 2020; my team of three and I have successfully maintained a loan recovery rate of 98% since I assumed the role.
As head of Credit, I am responsible for all Credit Administrative documentation, and the submission of all Bank of Ghana Reports.
In my business development role, I have successfully concluded a fund management services contract with the following mining industry labor associations. My core Duties and Responsibilities included developing route to market strategies for bulk food commodities like rice and sugar from Vietnam, Thailand, USA and Cambodia. In addition, together with my team of 4, we were to set sales targets for our KD’s, agree on an acceptable 21-day credit limit, take the KD stock order and ensure invoicing is done before the stock is delivered to the customer’s warehouse.
A major aspect of our day-to-day routine was competitor and price monitoring to ensure an immediate response in order for the brand to stay competitive always. The Regional Sales Manager was responsible for Setting sales team targets and incentives in addition to proposing and negating same for the KDs.
As at the end of financial year 2011, the business portfolio within my region was around US$12Million.
