  • ECOFRIDGES aims to catalyze large-scale adoption of energy-efficient and climate-friendly cooling products in Ghana and in Senegal
  • Adjusted project plans to account for dynamic targets, staffing changes, and operational specifications
  • Planned and implemented the first-ever wage financing for energy-efficient products which led to incremental sales of 50% at participating outlets within the first 3 months
  • Stakeholder engagement with Government and Private Sector, Industry, Financiers and other related parties
  • Training of project partners and Government officials
  • Supported the Energy Commission in developing a climate readiness plan towards funding from GCF.

  • Launched on 8th September 2014, the China-Ghana South-South Cooperation on Renewable Energy Technology Transfer was a project that prepared modalities to develop the RE sector in Ghana through policy review, capacity building and project development
  • Coordinated the development of Ghana’s 25-year Renewable Energy Master Plan
  • Presented the draft RE Master plan to a panel of Chinese experts
  • Facilitated technology support to BUI Power Authority for the development of the first micro-hydro power project( 45kW) in Ghana
  • Supported the handing over of five decentralized solar and wind hybrid systems on Island communities in Ghana
  • Coordinated the development of RE business models to stimulate investment in the RE sector by private players
  • Utilized my extensive network in the Energy sector to bring key stakeholders to the table to share findings in policy gaps and invite feedback
  • Designed four RE technology projects that incorporate key business models to encourage private sector involvement in Solar for agriculture, Biogas for commercial installations, mini-hydro and commercial biomass stoves
  • Organized successful missions to China involving Ghanaian government officials and the private sector resulting in key partnerships for RE project development in Ghana
