- Supervise the stores by ensuring periodic stock taking

- Laise appropriately with the facility management, ensuring open and effective communication is maintained
- Interact with internal and external auditors and participate in auditing project
- Discuss complex financial matters with and interpret accounting procedures and rules with clients and staff
- Attend general staff meetings to exchange information regarding developments and changes occurring within the facility
- Explore opportunities for upgrading self and other Accounts staff in the Department
- Participate in the training of Health staff on financial management

- Undertake/participate in roaster planning, monitoring and documentation of all leave for staff in the Department
- Prepare and submit annual report on the activities of the Organization
- Assist the head of department in the preparation of the District annual budget
- Prepare periodic and annual report for submission to the head of department and the Regional Health Directorate
- Participate in Procurement committee meetings
- Promote a positive image of the Organization
- Identify and participate in any cost improvement measures as required
- Ensure that complete, accurate and up to date records are maintained in accordance with the GHS Guidelines for record keeping and management
