In my work experiences as an internship trainee and policy and program assistant, I gained effective communicative skills, a collaborative spirit, tenacity, and the ability to learn and adapt to new workplace practices. I am looking for a position where I can apply my theoretical knowledge and laboratory skills to advance my academic or professional career as a result. In view of this, I am keen to seek and maintain a full-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Assisted with the assessment and post-clearance auditing of more than ten (10) duty and tax clearance invoices for clearing agents and importers on a monthly basis
  • Generated tax bills for the renewal of operational licenses for approximately eight (8) self-declarant agents, two (2) oil marketing companies, five (5) customs house agents, and three (3) bulk distributors per week using the Integrated Customs Management Systems (ICUMS).
  • Recorded the details of over 30 customs house agents per month and issue certificates to them.
  • Ensured the smooth movement of forty (40) customs house agent bonds to the legal unit on weekly basis for the required investigations and legal processes.
  • Assisted with the embossment of 98% of signed customs house agent licenses and bonds by the Commissioner of Customs Division, GRA.
  • Assisted with the generation of revenue forecasting and mobilization data for some imported goods on a monthly basis using the Integrated Customs Management Systems (ICUMS).
