Summary

Skilled nurse with extensive experience, both in theory and practice in nursing and midwifery education, maternal and newborn health, reproductive health, nutrition and dietetics and HIV/AIDS health related issues. Over the years, have worked with the Ghana Health services, local NGOs and international NGOs in the areas of and Family Planning, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) services. I have excellent experience as a trainer of both adults and young people. I have also organized and facilitated in numerous training workshops for the Ghana health services, USAID projects, EngenderHealth, PPAG, Jhpiego –Ghana, JICA, JOICFP and other international organizations. I coordinated the revitalization of the safe motherhood steering committee with FHD, GHS and supported with organization of quarterly committee meetings. I have good management skills including planning, monitoring and evaluation of project activities. I am passionate, patient, emotionally intelligent and socially approachable. Currently, I am the Clinical Advisor for the USAID - Momentum Country and Global Leadership Project and the Nursing and Midwifery focal person for Jhpiego Ghana. I have established excellent relationship with the Nursing and Midwifery leaderships at the MoH, Ghana Health Service (Head Quarters) and the Nursing and Midwifery fraternity across Ghana and beyond. I have supported the implementation of Family Planning (LARC, PPFP), MNH, mentorship programmes within the GHS networks of practice and implemented mental health resiliency activities for midwives in Ghana. I am a good team player; able to work in teams and on my own initiative, to achieve institutional targets and objectives.
