Ensure that all routine controls relating to new business are applied effectively with particular emphasis on routine compliance

• Ensure effective compliance with agreed limits of authority and levels of access to systems and information
• Ensure over all operational readiness and efficiency of the branch infrastructure including premises, ATMs, systems and physical security requirement
• Maintain a culture within the support area that emphasizes and demonstrates the importance of internal control to all staff
• Monitor GL entries and branch reconciliation, handling and confirming instruments for processing and payments
• Ensure efficient workflow from branch to head office clearing

• Assist in the marketing and sale of the Bank's SME products aimed at quality customer service and maximum contribution of the growth and profit of the bank without exposing it to undue risk
• To evaluate credit proposals and also make sure credit applications are approved on time based on the bank's turnaround time to meet customers needs.
• Crafting customer satisfaction and retention mechanism

• Provide account services to customers by receiving deposits and pay-out cheques
• Cross-sell bank products
• Answering inquiries, informing customers of new services, products and promotions
• GL Reconciliations

• Receiving of way bills
• Prepare shipping programme for available vessels
• Writing of field and evacuation reports

• Attending to clients and handling customer complains
• Prospecting as well as educating prospective customers
