Creative and detail-oriented metallurgical engineer with two years expertise in materials testing, analysis and process optimization. Seeking a challenging role to the contribution and development of high-quality products and innovative solutions. Committed to continuous learning and professional growth in the field of metallurgy . Seeking a role as a process metallurgist in the mining and oil industry to leverage knowledge and expertise acquired from the role as a geochemist at the Ghana Geological Survey Authority of Ghana and plant integrity engineer at Tema Oil Refinery. As a plant integrity engineer at Tema Oil Refinery, engaged in several maintenance works to help maintain the equipment in the refinery. Ensuring corrosion control of pipelines using non-destructive techniques (penetrant test, radiography test, hydrostatic test, pneumatic test) by applying API, ISO, ASME codes and standards to measure, monitor the thickness of pipelines, heat exchangers, vessels, columns and other equipment in the refinery to ensure that the plant process crude at optimum processing and smooth running. Perform tank visual inspection to ensure that the bottom plates, bottom shell, roof plates, pontoons and other tank peripherals are free from defects and with lower corrosion rates by conducting NDT on them. Contribution as a geochemist and plant integrity engineer had really proven the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and exceed expectation. Looking to bring this same level of commitment and success to a dynamic oil and gas company, while further advancing skills and expertise in metallurgy also furthering professional growth and development.
