Accomplishments

  • Successfully implemented and completed the Agricultural Value Chain Mentorship Project (AVCMP) funded by AGRA - Danida by completing the training and capacity building of some 400 agro -input dealers in the Northern Region as the project finance officer. The US$ 683,000 project was implemented by 3 consortiums namely GAABIC, IFDC and CSIR-SARI implementing various components
  • Successfully implemented the Agricultural Technology Transfer Project funded by USAID to introduce new farming technologies to SME's and commercial farmers in the Upper East, Upper West and Northern Region as the project finance officer. The US$ 25m five year project saw a significant number of farmers accessing various technologies in the ZOI
  • Successfully implemented the USAID - Financing Ghanaian Agricultural Project (FINGAP). Under this project GAABIC build the capacities of some selected input dealers to access bank credit.
  • Successfully won, implemented and completed the USAID - Agricultural Policy Support Project (APSP) implemented by NASTAG to push for reforms in Ghana's seed sector including the seed policy and Seed plan. As the project accountant i ensured expenditure complies with budget and where necessary make proposals for review. Total project value of US$ 100,000.00
  • Successfully implemented the USAID AGRA Phase 1 project on Strengthening The Ghana Seed Systems to enhance quality seed delivery to farmers. The 26 month project valued at US$ 301,000.00saw the increase in seed production by 10% while building the capacity of local seed producers to increase production. Budget was designed single handedly
  • Due to the successes chalked in the phase 1, NASTAG successfully won phase 2 valued at US$ 702,000 over another 26 month period to build the capacities of some 8 young and b=vibrant seed producers in the ZOI and also produce seeds of up to 12000MT within the period. This i single handedly designed the budget for the project implementation.
