RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepared and submitted cost estimates for various contracts in accordance with industry standards.
• Assisted principal quantity surveyor with project feasibility studies proposal.
• Reviewed tender documents and advised clients on commercial implications of proposed works or services.
• Prepared tender and contract documents for works, goods & services.
• Undertook contract administration on assigned projects.
• Attended meetings with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to discuss cost plans and review progress reports.
• Compiled monthly reports outlining costs incurred, projected spend and any variances from the original budget plan.
• Drafted contracts between clients, suppliers and contractors in line with company policies.
• Managed variations to contracts ensuring all parties are aware of additional charges or discounts applied.
• Verified contractor invoice charges against original project contracts and communicated with contractors to clarify discrepancies.

2. National survey on refrigerant types used in refrigeration and airconditioning equipment in Ghana - Environmental Protection Agency, Ghana & German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensured that all personnel wore appropriate personal protective equipment while working at construction sites.
• Reviewed drawings, specifications, change orders and other documents associated with projects prior to start of work onsite.
• Monitored progress of construction works against contract requirements; identified discrepancies between actual works performed versus contractual requirements and reported any issues and delays immediately to upper management.
• Provided guidance and support to contractors on technical matters related to their scope of work.
• Organized and maintained filing systems, both paper and electronic.
• Assisted with scheduling meetings and appointments for the office staff.
• Developed forms and procedures to improve workflow efficiency.
