Managerial Supervision Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure consistency and effectiveness of internal control system at SG Ghana with particular reference to Managerial Supervision i.e. First level control
  • To contribute to reinforce Managerial Supervision concept in SG Ghana
  • To organize trainings, workshops on Managerial Supervision for both branches and head office in subsidiary
  • To follow-up recommendations by Second Level Controller's mission reports and ensure its fully and satisfactorily resolved
  • To analyze quarterly results of controls declared by branches and departments with particular reference to most recurring anomalies
  • To assist Head, Permanent Control to prepare and submit quarterly reports on functioning of Managerial Supervision to Managing Director and SG Paris through Operational Risk Committee by 15th of month following every quarter
  • To follow up on anomalies extracted from GPS tool and Second Level Controller's Mission reports and ensure that action plans for anomalies are properly resolved with visible deliverables
  • To ensure proper and correct functioning of Permanent Supervision in SG Ghana
  • To review and update periodically, list of Procedures in conjunction with General Managers/Head of Departments as per standard procedures for updating controls for Sensitive Procedures

  • Internal – All entities included in perimeter of Managerial Supervision (First level of control (i.e. Divisions, Departments, Services, Units)
  • External – General Inspection SG, IBFS Internal Audit, IBFS Operational Risks, External Auditors, BOG, etc.
