- Effect of ore blending on settling: A case study at Asante Gold Chirano Mine., Due to various ore treated by Chirano Mine (Fresh, transition and oxide). The oxide possesses difficulties during thickening. This lead to high solids reporting to the overflow which affect metallurgical accounting. Hence the need to asses and discover the optimum operating conditions to improve on settling.
