• In the Golden Star Wassa Crushing, Milling, and CIL plant, draft all technical drawings (CAD, CAE, and FEA), model designs, and produce technical reports for all structural modifications and piping systems
• Design parametric models for any mechanical project in the plant and provide technical knowledge in Engineering Design on the loading conditions and how they affect the project's integrity using Simulation Analysis or FEAs
• Request for quotes from approved vendors for machine assemblies and essential spare parts. Raise purchase orders for parts and liase with the procurement team to ensure the timely purchase and prompt delivery of parts to the plant for efficient maintenance operations
• Develop Maintenance strategies, schedules and monitors Availability and Reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) needed to ensure Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
• Using statistical analysis, process mapping, process capability analysis, and root cause analysis, monitor and trend all equipment parameters crucial to quality (CTQ). This guarantees that machinery won't break down unexpectedly and that an effective reliability-centered maintenance strategy will be maintained
• Work with the Senior Maintenance Planner and the Materials Planner to guarantee that the inventory materials, consumables, and other essential spares are available for the maintenance team's seamless daily operations
• Optimize productivity by reducing Milling plant downtimes from 17 in 2022 to 8 in 2023 by 72 hours, saving an average of 72 hours of operational downtime.
• Assess schematic diagrams to properly plan and initiate new installation assignments and closely reviewed blueprints to guide quality implementations.

• Keep track of and submit reports on the equipment availability for all crucial circuits, including the carbon in leach (CIL) plant, the milling plant, and the crushing plant
• Ensure work order compliance, effectiveness, and quality through Work Order Management System on a weekly and monthly basis
• Collaborates with the Senior Mechanical Engineering on quick engineering solutions for emerging problems on machines and equipment’s in the plant.
• Maintained inventory records to track stock.

• Interpreted technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports to make revisions to CAD drawings as specified by the contractor.
• Developed CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits and used computer-aided design software to prepare blueprints and schematics.
• Perform Design Lifecycle Analysis and make sure Simulation analysis aligns with all product quality control procedures.
• Calculated dimensions and allowances with accurate precision for project specifications and analysed component and system details to resolve design problems.
