Chrispin Ajedipe

I am an engineer with over 7 years of work experience in the waste management sector. My focus in this sector is on landfill design & operation, wastewater/drinking water treatment and environmental sustainability. In my current role as a design and research engineer, also double as the chairman of the innovation team of my company, I lead a team of dedicated engineers in designing sanitary landfills and wastewater treatment systems across Ghana and other West African countries. I am also passionate about global issues such as global warming and leading my team to develop strategies that will minimize our carbon print in the environment.
I am a self-motivated person and can initiate tasks and develop new ideas. I am intelligent and a fast learner. Roles and
responsibilities assigned to me are performed with minimal supervision. I am an excellent team player and can work with diverse
groups of people as a result of my affable nature. Most of all, I am a goal-oriented person.

• Led a team of engineers to develop a wastewater treatment method for landfill leachate treatment (physicochemical treatment method) at the Nsumia landfill site, Ghana
• Led a team of engineers to conduct landfill leachate treatment pilot programme at Adipa landfill site in Ghana.
• Remediated a dugout contaminated with landfill leachate at a landfill site, Nsumia pit 1, Ghana
• Developed safety procedures for workers at a landfill site and handling of aluminium sulphate for leachate treatment, Ghana
• Part of a team that designed the Accra compost residual waste landfill and lead construction supervision engineer, Ghana
• Part of a team that designed Kumasi compost residual waste landfill in Ghana
• Developed landfill operation and management manual for managing
  landfills, across Ghana
• A team member that designed landfills for selected districts and municipalities in Ghana
• Part of a team carrying out closure system installation for the decommissioned Kpone landfill, Ghana
• A team member that designed Adipa landfill at Nsawam, Ghana
• Team lead on the Adipa Landfill Leachate treatment piloting programme, Ghana
• Led a team of engineers to develop a recycling program for plastics and metals at landfill site
• Designed 12 number residual landfills for integrated recycling and composting plant(IREOP) (Jopong Group) across various locations in Ghana
• Designed stabilizations ponds for leachate treatment
• Team lead in piloting landfill leachate treatment using physical processes
• Led a team of engineers to design sanitary landfills for Republic of Benin
• Developed Technical proposals for development of landfills for Kano state in Nigeria
