- Perform rig up, down, and operating activities which includes operating of rig tongs, slips and spinner hawk to connect and disconnect drilling pipe, tubular and drilling bits or tools, and checking hoist lines and ropes for SALA blocks
- Trip in and out of hole with drill pipes.
- Perform slip and cut of drill line when required.
- Perform Man Riding Operations for working at height when required.
- Perform "nipple up or nipple down" of blowout preventer system. This includes monitoring and operation of shakers
- Assist Derrickman with mud-mixing duties. This includes assisting within mud pit, mud pump and chemical sack.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components.
- Responsible for housekeeping activities on drilling floor which includes at a minimum washing, chipping and painting.

- Backloaded and offloaded Cargo from boat to rig, and rig to boat during boat operations
